Honoring our Legacy
This page is dedicated to honoring the lasting contributions of our former partners—respected attorneys, mentors, and native Nevadans whose vision and integrity helped shape our firm and the communities we serve.
Their dedication to the practice of law in rural Nevada continues to inspire our work every day. We are privileged to carry forward their legacy with the same commitment to excellence, service, and justice.

Michael F. Mackedon
8/4/41 - 2/23/25
Michael F. Mackedon was born and raised in Fallon and was a graduate of Churchill County High School, the University of Nevada, and Georgetown Law School.
He practiced law in Fallon for 57 years, serving since 1993 as Fallon’s City Attorney. Mike maintained a general practice of law that over the years included criminal law, real property law, commercial transactions, trusts, estates, natural resources, water law, and public lands law.
For Mike, practicing law was not a means to a financial end, but rather a calling. He always said that he had chosen the profession of law to “help the widow and the orphan,” and he did. He left a legacy of gentlemanly actions, scholarly legal work, and kind and genuine concern for others.
